Wednesday, June 19, 1929 Another hot day up to 91°. Seems just as hot as yesterday. Yale plays Harvard at Cambridge today and won 6 to 4, thus winning the series. Drove down to Bridgeport today to Champs Farm to the Master Painters outing. My, but it was hot down there. Had dinner about 1-30. I came up home for dinner. This evening, I attended a meeting of a special committee of the Spring Glen Club and voted to call a meeting of the club and get permission to go ahead with plans for a new club house on the site of the tennis courts. After the meeting, T.P.H., Sally, Pete, Mary Lou Wattles, and I went down to the drug store for ice cream.
