Cloudy this morning but the sun burned through this noon and it came off very hot. We drove in town this morning, I to Calvary Church and Sarah and Pete to get some things to go up to Stockbridge, Mass. This was Promotion Day at Calvary School, also my last day as Superintendent of the school. I finished six years today. Mr. and Mrs. Parker, our sexton and his wife, gave me a beautiful bouquet of roses and the school gave me a wonderful oriental rug. It was so lovely of them so to do. I love them for it all. Georgie got dinner for Father and Mother Peck and I as T.P.H. and Sarah took Pete up to Stockbridge to his Summer job.
