Very warm and humid. No rain came. We need it so badly. Lunch this noon at the Quinnipiack Club. Mrs. Runnells, John, and "Aunt Ding Dong" (Larry Noble's family) spent the night with us. T.P.H., Sally, and I had dinner on Howe Street with Dottie Rawson and Nancy Ferguson. Then Sally and I went out to the Jitney Players and saw them play "The Murder in the Red Barn". It was very well done.
