Tuesday, June 25, 1929 Hot again today. A thunder shower tonight cleared up the air and gave us some much needed rain. Rotary Club luncheon at Hotel Taft this noon. President Ray Reigeluth handed over the gavel to President George Lovell. We held the "Border Party" of the New Haven Grays at the Yacht Club tonight. Thirty four of us were there after thirteen years. Wooster Buckingham coming from Sheffield, Mass won the long distance prize. Sarah spent the afternoon on Mt. Carmel with Carol Maurer.
