Cloudy, sunshine, showers. Sarah took me in to Calvary to church. This was Mr. Camp's last Sunday before leaving for his vacation this afternoon. He had a notice in the calendar regarding Ruth Curtiss death. T.P.H. and Sally took Dorothy Rawson and drove up to Stockbridge, Mass. to see Pete. Aletha, Larry, and Nancy Stone and Mrs. Knapp called, as did Jack and Mary Dyer. Violette had a long cablegram from Howard Donovan at Bahia, Brazil telling her that Ruth's death was caused by an operation for bladder trouble and that jaundice set in and carried her off. She had every medical care and her friends were with her to the end.
