Wednesday, March 6, 1929 A beautiful March day today. Clear and brisk. I walked through Harkness Court today and in the secluded, sunny Brandford Court crocusses and snow drops are in bloom. Surely a promise of Spring. Had lunch at the Quinnipiack Club. A meeting of the Executive Board of the Boys Scouts at 5 P.M. and then to the Taft Hotel to a dinner in honor of "Tom" Sutton, President of Rotary International. It was held in the Ball Room and about 300 Rotarians from all parts of the 30th District were in attendance. It was a great meeting with a great man and he gave us a world picture of Rotary around the world. Tom's home is in Tampico, Mexico. Marion Adams gave a reception to Mrs. Sutton at the Faculty Club. Tess helped Mrs. Adams at the tables, also had dinner with them before. [Prev](1929_03_05.md) - [Next](1929_03_07.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1t37wLOPRB-pbgAAdwoQ72Tdw-WO_2S6I">
