Another warm and beautiful day. Thermometer up in the 60s. The Yale baseball team practiced out of doors today for the first time and the first time they have been out doors as early as March 13 in ten years. Drove to Springfield today. Took T.P.H. with me. We had lunch at the Hotel Kimball. I then went up to Northampton with Harry Fitch, while Tes went shopping. We drove home tonight in an hour and three quarters. After supper, I went in to the office and cleared up my desk. Called for Sally at the Yale Theatre. Yale-Harvard hockey tonight at the Arena. Yale won 3 to 2 and took the series. They played nine periods to win. This is the first series that Yale has won from Harvard in many years. The game last Saturday was the first time Yale had taken a game since 1925. Larry Noble is the Yale coach, Cady is captain.
