Rained all day again today but it is warm, quite like a Spring rain. Will bring the frost out of the ground. Had to get out Federal Income Tax Report in to the mail today. Mr. Buckingham, our auditor, finished it just in time for us to mail tonight. Sarah called for me tonight at six and we had dinner at home. We drove in town to attend the annual ball of the New Haven Grays at the New Haven Lawn Club on Whitney Ave. Sarah left us at the club then drove on in town to call for John Clearman at the Yale Theatre. They came to dance later. It was a fine party. A big crowd and a happy one. We met many of our old friends there. We left at shortly after one and stopped at Longley's Lunch Room for a early morning lunch.
