Saturday, March 16, 1929 Rain till about noon then cleared and was a lovely afternoon. We worked till about six o'clock then I came home on the trolly and had dinner at home. T.P.H. and I then drove in town, called for Violette, and went on in to the Yale Theatre to see the play "The Brief Candle" put on by the Drama Department. It was very good. Afterwards, we met Sarah in the Green Room and were invited by Grant Noble to go out for refreshments. We went in to "Harry's" on York Street for soda.
