Sunday, March 17, 1929 A beautiful March day, clear and cold and windy. Sarah and I drove into town, she to go to the Yale Theatre to work and I to Calvary Church to service and church school. Miss Aldora Bailey, a former church worker and much beloved by us all, is back in New Haven and was at church this morning. We gave her a royal welcome. We had dinner at home. T.P.H., Mother and Father Peck and I. Sarah had to be in town all day. Bud Wicks, dramatic coach at Vassar, called to see us this afternoon.
