Tuesday, March 19, 1929 Clear and lovely. Warm during the day. Mr. Lloyd and Mr. Dunn of the W.H.S. Lloyd Co. of New York called on us today. I took Mr. Camp to the Quinnipiack Club to lunch today and told him that I could not be superintendent of the church school another year. I did not go to Rotary Club lunch today as Ray Reigeluth, our president, asked me not to come as he wanted to present my name to club for their endorsement as a candidate for district governor. This endorsement was given unanimously. We shall see how the district feels about it. Worked tonight at office on Wall Paper records.
