Fine Spring day for the first day of Spring. Attended the noon Lenten Service at Trinity Church on the Green. Mr. Kinsoloring, minister at Amherst College, was the preacher. Joe Smith attended with me and afterwards invited me down to the Y.M.C.A. for lunch. Special services again tonight at Calvary. Rev. Dr. Lackey of the Central Baptist Church of Hartford preached the sermon. A big crowd was in attendance. A trustees meeting was held after the meeting to consider the problem of a new baptistry, the one now in use has gone to pieces. T.P.H. attended the mid-week Lenten Service at St. Paul's Church then she called for Sarah and I and took us home. Sally was at work at the Yale Drama School.
