Wednesday, March 27, 1929 Drove to the Springfield store today. It has been a lovely day too. Clear, but a lot of snap in the air. Had lunch at the Hotel Kimball with Mr. Page. Made some calls on customers in that territory. Drove down as far as Hartford and had dinner there. Then went to the Central Baptist Church. Mr. Camp, our pastor, has been holding special services there all this week. About a hundred Calvary people went up from New Haven as a surprise for him. He was indeed surprised and much pleased in this evidence of the Calvary family loyalty. We had a good meeting.
