Sunday, March 31, 1929 Easter Sunday and a glorious day weatherwise as well as spiritually. I got up at four o'clock and drove in to Calvary Church. Took Mrs. Dimond and her daughter in with me. We assembled members of our church school there and took a bus and drove to the summit of West Rock for our annual Sunrise Service, this year to begin at 5-37. We had a good group in attendance. We came back to the church for breakfast. T.P.H., Sarah, and Katherine Warren went to St. Paul's to early service. I called for them there and we all came home to breakfast. Later all, including Father and Mother Peck, went in to church, they to St. Paul's and I to Calvary. We had our Church School Service at noon up stairs in the auditorium.
