Wednesday, May 1, 1929 Went down to Calvary Baptist Church to supper and attended a business meeting afterwards. This meeting was called to adopt or reject a new set of constitution and bylaws of the church. These changes have been much discussed by the people and many members do not favor the changes. Mr. Camp, our pastor, is behind the idea and has threatened that if they were not passed, he would resign. The meeting was most harmonious and except for some questions being asked by members to clear up misunderstandings and some minor changes here and there, the new document was adopted. Still a good many feel upset about it and are hurt but as usual did not want to make a fight.
