Thursday, May 2, 1929 Went down town this morning and had chiropodist take care of the callouses on the bottom of my feet. My I never had such instant relief from pain in my life. I came out feeling like a new man and just because I withstood one operation allright, I had courage enough to go and have another. So I went down to Stones and my picture taken. Rotary International asked for one of my photographs and I did not have one that I wanted to send. Tonight, T.P.H. and I drove over to Seymour, Conn. to attend the First Anniversary of the Seymour Rotary Club. A fine dinner was served at the Woodford Memorial Chapel. A short program was carried out and dancing following. I spoke to them on "Our Anniversaries". A terrific thunder shower occurred during the speaking and put all the electric lights out. Fortunately, we had candles on the tables. [Prev](1929_05_01.md) - [Next](1929_05_03.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1n0Mchhrt-BggBeuzx5eidfjXM62PbcNl">
