Sunday, May 5, 1929 Beautiful morning. Rained this afternoon. Went in to church and church school on the trolly car. T.P.H. drove in later with her mother and father to St. Paul's Church. Sally had to go in to rehearsal at Yale Drama School at one o'clock so left the car for me. Mr. and Mrs. Newell and Charles Jr. called this afternoon on their way home to Springfield. I went in to the Yale Hope Mission to speak at their mission service. They are now on Crown Street near York Street. They have just moved in from the old quarters on Court Street.
