Sunday, May 19, 1929 Clear this morning then a series of hard thunder showers. Sarah and I drove into town this morning, I to Calvary Church and Church School, she to collect up a group of students at the Yale Drama School then off to Millbrook, New York state to witness a Greek play in the Out Don Theatre there. They are to stay all night there, return to school tomorrow morning. I hope that have not experienced as much rain as we have today. Uncle Eugene Peck, Annie Peck, and young man came over from Willimantic to see us all today. They stayed to dinner then went on to make a call at the Masonic Home in Wallingford.
