Saturday, May 25, 1929 Beautiful Summer day. Left New Haven for Dallas, Texas and the Rotary Convention. Left New Haven at 11-11 Standard time. New York, Philadelphia Station 2-15. Traveling with Don Adams, Ray Reigeluth, Will McLean, John Dawson, George Cooper of Pittsfield, and Charlie Simonds of Boston. We had lunch on the train between New Haven and New York and dinner on the Pennsylvania train en route to St. Louis. This train is called the "Spent of St. Louis". We passed through Indianapolis and Terre Haute, Indiana at 9-30 Standard Time.
