At Dallas, Texas attending the Rotary Convention. Rained hard today, just poured whole water. I got up at six this morning and attended a 7-30 breakfast of the outgoing and incoming district governors. We met many of the overseas district governors and heard them speak. Attended the convention session at nine o'clock at Convention Hall at the Fair Grounds. President Tom Sutton of Tampico, Mexico gave his annual address. The afternoon was given over to vocational service craft assembly. I went out in all the rain to Sherwin-Williams Warehouse to our conference of Paint-Varnish and Decorations. Tonight, Ray Reigeluth took Don Adams, Crawford McCullough, Will McLean, John Dawson, George Cooper, and myself out to "Bagdad" (a road house) to dinner. We had a fine time.
