Friday, May 31, 1929 At the Rotary Convention at Dallas Texas. Outgoing, incoming, and past district governors breakfast at the Adolphus Hotel 7-30 A.M. At the regular session of the convention, all the incoming district governors were introduced. I was very proud to be introduced as the Governor of the 30th District. This afternoon, I did some shopping for the folks at home and tonight I had as my guests at dinner at the Peacock Terrace on the roof of the Baker, George Cooper, John Davison, William McLean. Ray Reigeluth left this afternoon for home. We hated to see him go from our party. The total registration at the convention was announced today as 9526. 28 nations had actual delegates present. I moved from the Hotel Baker over to the Hotel Adolphus to be ready for the assembly.
