Monday, November 11, 1929 At store all day and evening. Lou Steele of York Card and Paper Co. here today to get duplicate orders on wallpaper on account of advance in price November 15th. I had lunch with him at Hotel Taft. Supper down town. Then attended Board of Governors Meeting of the Quinnipiack Club. Then back to the store and worked till a late hour. Armistice Day today but not a holiday in Connecticut. Banks closed but not the stores.
