Tuesday, November 12, 1929 Beautiful day, like early September. In to the store early. Worked till ten o'clock then drove down to Stanford, Conn. to make my official visit to the Stanford Rotary Club. Took Fred Bradley down with me as far as Westport. He was a resident there and is an honorary member of the Westport Rotary Club. He now lives out here in Spring Glen. Spoke at the Stanford Club at noon then made some business calls. Drove back to South Norwalk and called on Charles Maschell, president of the Norwalk Rotary Club. Also called on Fred and Alice Lockwood. Alice was not at home. Came on to Westport and made my official visit to the Westport Rotary. They had arranged an evening meeting for me and it was held out in the country.
