Saturday, November 16, 1929 Just a gorgeous day and the day of the Yale-Princeton game. It was warm and sunshiney all day long, scarcely needing a heavy coat. The Bowl, as usual, was packed to the rim. About 78,000 people present. The game was quite tame during the first half. Both teams punting a good deal and waiting for the breaks. When the second half began, Yale was like a new team. The half had ended with the score 0 to 0. Yale started on her own forty yard line and on straight plays took the ball straight through for a touchdown. Yale made a another in the last period, winning the game 13 to 0. Albie Booth did not play on account of a bruised leg but the team did not need him. Firko Greene is the Yale captain and Stevens the coach.
