Sunday, November 17, 1929 Rainy, gloomy day all day long. Stayed home all day long just about tired out. I wrote my monthly Rotary letter and worked on material for my "Gold Book". Sally and Peter drove up to Springfield to have dinner with the Newells and to visit Muriel before she go back to Copenhagen, Holland (she has been home on a visit).
