Monday, November 18, 1929 Rained hard all day. Went in to the store early to take the switchboard and take care care of my mail. Left at 10-30 and drove up to Hartford to make my official visit to the Hartford Rotary Club. Had a fine meeting with them. Came back to the store and worked till 10-45 tonight pricing the new wall paper line. Slight earthquake shock felt all along the Eastern sea-board from Canada down. No damage done.
