At Turners Falls at the home of the James A. Gunns. We had breakfast with them then drove down to Northampton, Holyoke, and to the Springfield store. T.P.H. then drove on down to Hartford and had lunch with Nan Prior Emmett and later called for Sarah and Betty Beebe at the Oxford School and took them home. I called on several customers in the afternoon. Harley came up from New Haven and we invited Mr. Love, Mr. Pomeroy, and Mr. Shepherd of the Bryan Hardware Co. of Westfield, Mass. over to the Kimball to dinner. Then we went over to the store and talked about their paint business till eleven o'clock. Then Harley and I drove down home. The weather has been beautiful. Very cold in Turners Falls this morning but clear and fine.
