Dashed into the store early and took care of my mail then came out home, called for T.P.H., and drove to Willimantic and paid my official visit to the Willimantic Rotary Club. Tess ate her lunch at the Nathan Hale Inn also then went and called on cousin Annie and Uncle Gene Peck, also some other friends. On the way back, we drove over to Gilead, Conn. and saw the house where we stayed when I was so sick. Also hunted up a Mrs. Hardy, a sister of Millie who used to work for us. We then came on to Middletown where I made my official visit to the Rotary Club there. I took cousin Howard with me. Tess had supper with cousin Carrie, whose 69th birthday it was. Tess gave her half of the flowers that the Willimantic Club gave to her.
