Thursday, November 28, 1929 "Thanksgiving Day". Rained and snowed a little this morning early but cleared off cold during the forenoon. The stores were closed all day but I went in and worked till one o'clock. We had dinner at home. Father and Mother Peck were here of course and Peter and Ed Cole. He could not go home so Sally invited him out. Tessie had her usual good dinner. Father Peck furnished the turkey. We spent the afternoon and evening around the fire reading and visiting. Lota came down from Smith to eat dinner and Richmond took her back. [Prev](1929_11_27.md) - [Next](1929_11_29.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1uDs2UD-OnhC36zsfs50w-d0fU6IVkwGE">
