Tuesday, October 1, 1929 Rotary Club luncheon at Hotel Taft this noon. Tom Steele spoke on "The Kellogg Treaty". It was a fine talk. We, the Hodges family, sent some roses to mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Dawless in celebration of their sixteenth wedding anniversary. I worked at the office till about eight o'clock, then went out to Carl Ballmann's house on Alden Ave. to an executive board meeting of the New Haven Grays Veterans Association.
