Sunday, October 6, 1929 Another beautiful day. T.P.H. and I drove in town to church, she to St. Paul's and I to Calvary. I called for her afterwards at St. Paul's and brought her home. Pete Barker was here to dinner. I worked all afternoon on my Rotary address to be used on my official visits. Later, we all drove in to town, driving up on East Rock Park on the way in. We went to Bertha and Truman Berkley's for supper. Helen and Latham, Marian and Larry came also so we had a jolly time all together. We came home and I finished my speach by midnight.
