Saturday, October 19, 1929 A lovely day, clear and warm. Worked till one o'clock. Mr. George W. Hanbury and Alfred and Mable Hanbury came down for the Yale-Brown game. It seemed like old times to have them. They came back to the house with us and we all had supper together. Later, T.P.H. and I drove out to Douglass Yerxa house to help them celebrate their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Some of the old Rotary group went out too. We took them a silver tray.
