This has been a beautiful day. T.P.H. and I left home at 8-15 and drove to North Adams, Mass. where I made my official visit to the Rotary Club of North Adams. We went up via Waterbury, Tarrington, Norfolk, Canaan, Lenox, Pittsfield, to North Adams, and returned over the Mohawk Trail to Greenfield to Westfield and the College Highway. We drove the 265 miles in 8.5 hours, having spent 3.5 hours in North Adams. I had a nice visit with the Rotarians. The had lunch at the Hotel Richmond. I called on our customer, Quinn's Paint Store. We arrived home about seven o'clock and ate supper then hurried in to the Yale Divinity School Library to a meeting of church people who are considering the movie situation from a moral standpoint.
