Thursday, October 24, 1929 Dashed into the office early. Picked up our customer, J.J. Needles. who spent the night in New Haven. Called at the house for T.P.H. and drove up to Winsted. Left Mr. Needles there. Then we went on to Pittsfield, Mass. where I made my official visit to the Pittsfield Rotary Club. Tess had lunch with Mrs. Allan Bagg. We had a fine visit together with many old and dear friends. We left Pittsfield and came down through Lenox, Stockbridge, Canaan, Tarrington, where T.P.H. took the trolly for home. I going on to Derby where I made my official visit to the Derby-Shelton Club arriving home about eleven o'clock.
