Thursday, September 5, 1929 Cloudy all day. Consequently not quite so hot. Postcard from Sarah today, mailed in Copenhagen. She was going on a visit into Sweden. Worked on wallpaper selections all day. T.P.H. met me in town and we had supper at the Church-Wall Tea Rooms then drove down to West Haven and picked up Harley and Alice and drove down to Bridgeport to Lewis Bill's to see Uncle Charles and Auntie "B" also Uncle Ted and Aunt Mame, who were visiting them. This was Uncle Ted's 76 birthday. They all seem to be pretty well. Harley and I selected a silver dish at Kirby's and sent on to Mr. and Mrs. Matlack of Moorstown, N.J., who are celebrating their 25th anniversary on Saturday.
