At the Davis' house. Plainfield, New Jersey. We slept late as we were so tired after getting up so early yesterday morning. We had breakfast with "Bea" and Terry then took a taxi to the Plainfield station and a train to New York. Went directly to Pier No. 7. American Merchant Line arriving there at 12-15 to meet the "American Shipper" and Sally. The boat was delayed in the narrows on account of the fog and did not get in till 4 o'clock. With us as a reception committee was "Peter", Bud Wickes, Bert Hodges, Mother and I. Colly Davis came down but had to leave in order to get back to business. Well we were most happy to have her back so safely and so happy. She had such a wonderful time. We taxied up to the Grand Central Station and came up home on the six o'clock train. I attend a meeting of the Spring Glen people regarding forming a church.
