Tuesday, September 10, 1929 Showery and muggy and hot. Attended New Haven Rotary Club luncheon, Hotel Taft. Committee meeting at our home of committee appointed by the Spring Glen people to consider and make plans for a church in this vicinity. Committee made of Prof. John. C. Archer, Lewis L. Gilbert, Orrin S. Spencer, Vernon H. Hodges, John Jones. Mrs Hughes and one other to be chosen. Rev. William G. Lathrop met with us by invitation.
