Conferences all the morning with members of the 102nd Infantry and the New Haven Grays in regard to "Pete" Booth's funeral. I called on Mrs. Booth this afternoon and she asked that Major Ballmann and I arrange for the bearers. The dear little girl is bearing up bravely. Harold Dorr and Young Maker, who were also injured, are still in a critical condition and at the hospital. Bert and Jess Hodges spent the day with us. Had dinner then we had a lovely visit with them and took them back down to Harley's for the night. They are soon to on West and sail for China.
