Tuesday, September 24, 1929 Warmer today but not so warm but what we need fires. Bert Hodges attended Rotary luncheon with Harley and I then we took a walk around the new Yale Library, now building opposite our store. I worked till ten o'clock on wallpaper tag books for 1930 line. We are loaning a part of our York Street first floor to Larry Munson (A.A. Munson's son) to display pictures for the students. Bert and Jess leave today for Syracuse, where they will stop to see Harry and Claire Bill. Then, after several other business calls across the country, will sail from Vancouver, British Columbia for Yokohama, Japan.
