Thursday, April 3, 1930 Beautiful day today. Went into office. Took my business and Rotary mail and then took the 10-20 train for Springfield. Had lunch at Hotel Kimball. Spent the afternoon at the Springfield store then took a train for Boston and a meeting with a committee of the New England Wall Paper men. Had dinner and a conference until ten o'clock. Caught the 11-30 sleeper for New Haven. Father Peck had a bad time today. Tessie called the doctor and Mrs. Tilton the nurse.
