A bit warmer today. Sarah got up and took me into the store. I was busy all the morning there. Tessie came in right after dinner and Aunt Bell Zorn came over from Groton and we three went down to Hayes + Pierce and had a visit with Father Peck. He was laid out in the Mahogany casket and looked perfectly lovely. So calm and peaceful. We then went down to Meyers Flower Shop and chose Easter Lillies and Snap Dragons for his flowers. Linda M. Master Nettleton called as did Esther Faile. Later Aletha Stone came and brought some preserves. Then Harley and Alice and Mrs. Smith came and brought a pie
