Monday, April 14, 1930 Quite warm and Summery today. Thermometer went up to 72°. Tessie took Aunt Belle in to St. Paul's Church to communion this morning then took her to the home of one of her friends to continue her visit in New Haven. I had supper down town tonight then attended a meeting of the Board of Governors of the Quinnipiack Club and voted with the others to advise the purchase of a piece of property on Church Street just North of Elm for a new club house at a cost not to exceed $275,000.00. Sarah played the lead in a play at Trinity Parish House.
