Sunday, April 20, 1930 Easter Sunday and a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky all day. Tessie and Sarah got up and went in to early service at St. Paul's Church. We had breakfast then Sally took me in to Calvary Church to church school Easter exercises. I had put the flowers in church in memory of Doris and Lota. Violette and many others told us how pretty they were. I remained for church service and Tessie and Sarah, who had attended the late service at St. Paul's, came up to Calvary to see the flowers and took me home. We stopped and brought out to dinner with us Gene Poole, a boy from the drama school. I ran in late this afternoon and made an Easter call on Violette and Clayton.
