Monday, April 28, 1930 Beautiful day, clear and warm. Partial eclipse of the sun visible here at about three o'clock. I saw it through a piece of smoked glass. Meeting this afternoon of the New Haven Paint and Oil Club at the office of the Booth and Law Co. on Crown Street. Matter discussed was the new prices on White Lead just issued by the National Lead Co. Had supper down town then worked till about eight then went down to the Graduates Club, 155 Elm St, to an Executive Board Meeting fo the New Haven Grays Veterans Association.
