Saturday, August 2, 1930 In Stockbridge, Mass. visiting with Sally and Peter. It was Sarah's birthday yesterday and we came up to celebrate it with her. I took her and mother down to Great Barrington to do the weekly "trading". We called for Peter at the Playhouse and all went up to "Burkes" for dinner. Sort of a birthday party for Sally afterwards. We delivered Peter at the Playhouse and we came back to the house and visited till bed time.
