Wednesday, August 6, 1930 Hot hot hot and dry dry dry. No rain in sight, thermometer over 90 again today. Harley started his vacation this morning, has gone up to Ringe, New Hampshire, Dr. K's camp. John Cosby from the Springfield store came to New Haven today. He is on his vacation. I brought him out home with me. Had dinner and I took him over to call on Violette and family.
