Saturday, August 9, 1930 Very hot again today. We worked till one o'clock then closed for the day. T.P.H. called for me and we drove over to Storrs, Conn. to spend the weekend with Richard and Mrs. Dodge, our new District Governor of the 30th District. We arrived about four o'clock and later had dinner with them and then they took us for a ride in their new Packard Eight. They have lovely home and Storrs is a lovely place. Harry M. Chittenden of Meriden, a customer of our's, died this morning. He had been ill a long time with cancer [Prev](1930_08_08.md) - [Next](1930_08_10.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1Xm3kwHgfTEddfW65zt8z-Hq_2q36aZ-l">
