Much cooler today. Really cold this morning. Found I had a flat tire when I went out to the garage to drive to the office. Changed it and T.P.H. took me in town. Harley called up from Ringe, New Hampshire this morning. he is up there on his vacation. He said it was mighty cold up there. He expects to be up there most of the month of August. Home to dinner tonight. Watered the shrubbery around the house. The drought is most serious to all growing things. Farmers are losing a great deal of money on account of their crops burning up
