Tuesday, August 19, 1930 A beautiful day. E. Monroe Bailey, Burt Judd, and I drove down to Morris Cove and called on the family of our comrade of the Grays, Frank C. Tuttle, who died suddenly yesterday on Chapel Street. Tessie and a lot of Sarah's young girl friends went down to East River today and had a beach party at Aletha Knapp Stone's. Attended Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft today. I made an announcement regarding the Fall Conclave to be held at Swampscott, Mass. October 2-3-4th, 1930.
