Thursday, August 28, 1930 Very warm again today. The sun has a Fall feeling. Working all day on Mr. Chamberlain's small book of Wallpapers. Had supper downtown then went up to the New State Armory on Goffe Street between County and Hudson Streets. The Company Units have just moved in from the old Armory on Meadow Street. We met in the Grays room and mailed out the notices for the 114th Anniversary to be held at Calvary Baptist Church, Sunday, September 7th and at Woodmont Saturday September 13th. Lou Hedges and Roe Bailey for the veterans and Sergeants Gilbert Asborn and Ray Sheppach helped me get the notices ready for mailing.
